Katie Makri

Katie Makri is a Greek creative artist whose diverse talents led her working and communicating with people on several fields. Actress and singer of traditional thracean songs and she has a sentimental gaze while travelling.

As serious about her work as she is affable, she loves to express herself with watercolor,  pen and ink, coal, plaster and paper. Her style changes accordingly to each medium, and looking back through the years you might think you see the work of various artists.

 

You can find my work at the Art Gallery in Alexandroupolis, Thrace, Greece where I live permanently and at the Louisa Gould's Gallery in Vineyard Haven on Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts, the place where I live for two months per year and inspired me to create little watercolor cards to share my greek point of view of the unique Vineyard landscapes with other visitors.
